Information you share

Our website uses direct email links rather than a contact form. When you contact the studio by email, telephone or text message, you may share your name, email address, telephone number, artwork interests, commission details, studio experience and reservation details, and the content of your messages, voicemails and any attachments.

When you buy artwork or pay a deposit, your payment details, such as your name, contact details, the artwork or experience involved, the amount and your payment card information, are processed through Square.

Please share only information relevant to your inquiry, and do not send health, financial or government-identification details by email, voicemail or text message.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our site is delivered by a hosting provider whose servers automatically process technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages and files requested, the referring page, and the date and time of the request. This information is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and diagnose technical problems. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.

How we use information

We use the information you share to respond to inquiries about original artwork and collecting; discuss private commissions and artwork purchases; coordinate Creative Sessions, workshops and Private Creative Gatherings; manage reservations and related communications; process payments and deposits; and maintain appropriate business records and meet legal obligations.

Telephone calls

When you call Atelier Art & Design Studio, LLC, our telephone service provider, Grasshopper, processes call information, including your telephone number, the date and time of your call, and call duration.

Calls may be forwarded to an authorized studio representative. If you leave a voicemail, Grasshopper may store your message and generate a written transcription. Voicemail messages and transcriptions may be accessed by authorized studio representatives to respond to your inquiry.

Text messages

The studio may exchange text messages with customers about inquiries, artwork purchases, commissions, studio experiences, reservations and related customer service. When you text the studio, or the studio texts you, Grasshopper processes your telephone number, the content of the messages and related communication records, such as the date and time each message was sent or received. Text messages may be read and answered by authorized studio representatives.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Service providers

We use a limited number of service providers to support our operations, including Namecheap for domain registration and business email; Netlify for website hosting and image delivery; Grasshopper for business telephone and text messaging services; and Square for payment processing.

These providers process information as needed to deliver their services, subject to their applicable terms and privacy policies. Square may also use some payment information for its own purposes, as described in Square’s privacy notice.

Who handles your information

Studio inquiries and customer communications are managed by Suzanne E. Burks and by representatives she specifically authorizes when needed to respond to an inquiry.

We may also disclose information to our professional advisors, such as accountants and attorneys; when required by law; or to protect the rights, property or safety of the studio or others. We do not sell personal information.

Do Not Track

Our website does not track visitors over time or across other websites, and we do not allow third parties to do so on our site. For that reason, it does not respond differently to browser Do Not Track signals.

Retention and deletion

We keep correspondence and related information for as long as needed to respond to and follow up on inquiries, provide services, maintain business records such as records of sales, payments, reservations and commissions, and meet legal obligations. We periodically delete information that is no longer needed. Our service providers, including Grasshopper and Square, may also keep their own records, such as call, voicemail, message and transaction records, for periods they set.

Children

Our website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Privacy questions and requests

Email info@atelierartdesign.com to ask a privacy question or to ask us to access, correct or delete information you have shared with the studio. Please describe your request without including unnecessary sensitive information.
